Lucifer Rising

Photobucket
I've always thought that isolating the artist's personality from his creative work is something of great importance - you don't really need to know whether he's a prick or a great guy, do you? This particular case is slightly worse: Bobby Beausoleil is a life-sentencing member of the Manson Family and i've been trying in vain to disassociate his status as a murderer from his ominous psychedelic epics that i've been listening for days , really giving up as of today. Oh well...

funnily enough i was just thinking that a serial killing spree would be a good press angle for my next lp - i'd write murder themed songs, then do the murders and gemma could release the lp and profit from the ghoulish nature of the public. good art.

murder etc is just part of the same continuum of brain-weakness as serial groupie molestation: monkey urges. don't really see why it's so stigmatised though, i would rather be a murderer than a conservative.

embracing your primal urges while self-promoting artistic creation is always better than being a right-wing subhuman lowlife, that's for sure.

unless by "conservative" you mean the respect for human life lol
